The Dome family has graciously offered us one of their rare Open House events 10360 S. Ave 5 E - just down from the old Fun Factory on 18 February - from 10am - 4pm. Cost is $10 per person and they are donating half to YCT. They are also holding one the prior weekend with the charity being Greater Foothills Helping Hands. Please consider attending one of these rare events- if you haven't seen the Dome up close - you are in for a treat! Be watching for a flyer on this event.
Since we are performing at the Yuma Historic Theatre the tickets are available through the City of Yuma's Arts Center. You can buy them in person at 254 S. Main Street or order them on line at by following this link. Yuma Historic Theatre tickets Just scroll down until you find our shows.
YCT is having a shoe drive! We are partnering with Funds2Orgs, a social enterprise that partners with nonprofits, schools, churches, civic groups, businesses and others to help them plan and implement a shoe drive fundraising campaign. Please bring only new or gently worn shoes to donate. The motto is "if you wouldn't give them to a friend, don't bring them to us." We will band them together and at the end of the drive they will be shipped to Funds2Orgs for processing and payment.
Please contact a YCT Board member, drop them off at our Board meetings or other events or make arrangements through our email for a time of drop off.
Yuma Community Theater is partnering with The Telling Project to create a
special event dedicated to our veterans. For the past eight years the
Telling Project has been working with veterans across the nation to create
local community performances where veterans perform their own stories.
These productions offer a chance for veterans to speak about their
experiences and for communities to listen and gain a better understanding of
what it means to serve. Yuma Community Theater will host our own "Telling,
Yuma" in May 2017. Stay tuned for more information!
